Q. If this is an owners website, how do I have my
say?
A. The Owners' Committee is always pleased to hear
from owners, but if your enquiry relates to a problem encountered during
your stay at Dona Lola please do report it to
the resort reception at the time.
Q. Can I exchange my accommodation with another
owner?
A. Yes, we recommend that you use the Macdonald
Holiday Exchange facility. See the Exchanging
page for information.
Q. How can I check availability and cost of renting
an apartment?
A. Contact Macdonald Resorts - see
the Renting page for more information.
Q. How expensive is a taxi from Malaga Airport to
the Dona Lola resort?
A. A taxi costs around 55 euros depending on the
number of passengers and amount of luggage. Do always ask the driver to
confirm the fare before you set off.
Q. Can I get to the resort by train?
A. There is a regular train service from Malaga
Airport to Fuengirola where you can get a taxi or bus to the
Dona Lola resort. Details are on the Malaga Airport website.
Q. How can I find the location of my apartment in
the resort before I arrive?
A. See the Dona Lola resort map, click on the link on the
Holiday Information page.
Q. Can I book additional accommodation for my
friends who would like to come to Dona Lola
when we are there?
A. Contact Macdonald Resorts for availability - see
the Renting page for more information.
Q. What laundry/ironing facilities are there?
A. The resort has a laundry for the use of guests and
apartments have irons and ironing boards. Q.
What activities will be organised when we visit the resort?
A. Activities vary from week to week but normally include
trips, wine tasting, Spanish lessons, fitness activities and evening
entertainment. Q. Is Internet access available in my apartment? A.
All apartments have access to our Interactive TV and Internet system -
a fee applies. You can access the Internet via your TV or by connecting
a laptop using the cable provided. If you intend to use the Internet
extensively it is recommended that you bring your laptop or Netbook. Q. What is the best way to
hire car? A. Contact the resort reception or
book on line using a website such as Holiday Autos.
Q. Will supermarkets be open when I arrive?
A.
Supermarkets are open until late on Saturday but most are closed or
only open for restricted hours on Sunday. There is a small grocery shop
near the resort entrance that is open 7 days a week. The Opencor
Supermarket about 1km away at Riviera Del Sol is open 24/7. Or order a
