A five year programme is underway for the
refurbishment of all Dona Lola apartments. Click here to

Recent
improvements to Dona Lola resort facilities include refurbishing the
leisure centre and indoor pool, modernising the main pool and
retiling the pool area, rebuilding of the Vista Mar poolside restaurant
and bar area, tiling around the adult pool, new luxury sun beds at the
adult pool, new sun beds at the main pool, access via the adult pool
area to Bar Brass and Reception and resurfaced tennis courts. New menus
have been introduced at both Bar Brass and Vista Mar with theme evenings
during the week with special menus.
The 2008 Annual General Meeting will be held at
11am on Friday 24th October at the Macdonald Elmers Court Resort, Lymington.

The new grading system is:

Top level
“Premier” this is the top 50% approx of the resorts that had
the old 5 star award.

Mid level
“Select” the remaining resorts that were 5 star. This level
is equivalent in the main to RCI gold Crown.

Entry level
“Affiliate” Remaining II affiliated resorts. Equivalent to RCI
Silver crown
Doña Lola has been awarded II top accolade “Premier” Status, putting the
resort in the top 10% of II affiliated resorts world wide.
There are only
four II Premier resorts on the Costa Del Sol.
These ratings are based on customer scores on exchange return cards and
resort inspections by Interval International.

2007 Owner Survey
Thank you to those owners who completed and
returned the questionnaire sent out with the AGM packs. The responses
have been analysed and the results were considered by the
committee at its January meeting. The results will be reported to owners
in the June 2008 owners newsletter together with responses to matters
raised by owners returning the questionnaires.

ratings of importance and actual on key issues):

The Owners Committee meets normally four times during
the year, the next meeting will be held at Elmers Court on 23rd October
2008.
Committee meeting minutes are not published but any
owner can view a copy when on holiday at the resort.
There are three owner representatives of the club
committee each serving for three years with one retiring in rotation
each year. The retiring member is eligible to stand for re-election. Any
owner is eligible to stand for election, nominations accompanied by a
curriculum vitae must be submitted by 1st July preceding the Annual
General Meeting. To express an interest or for further information
please contact the committee.
